Help Paying for Your Childcare
In England, three government-funded early education schemes offer free childcare for children aged 9 months, two, three and four years old:
- 15 hours of free education and childcare for 2-year-olds (families on certain low-income benefits or children with additional needs).
- 15 hours of free childcare for all 3 and 4-year-olds (universal entitlement).
- 30 hours of free childcare for eligible children between 3 and 4 years (working parents).
- 15 hours of free childcare for eligible children between 9 months to 4 years old (working parents).
